Knowing and Recognizing Your Spiritual Gifting

It is imperative to know and recognize your spiritual gifts. These are the supernatural abilities that was deposited into every child of God before birth to do the work of the ministry.

Your Spiritual Gifts were given to fulfill the great commission to reach, baptize and teach.  A spiritual gift is the primary channel by which the Holy Spirit ministers to every believer. it is a supernatural capacity for service. These are the tools needed for building the church. A Spiritual gift is a divine calling with a divine responsibility. Because of what you have been called to accomplish for the kingdom of God.

My spiritual gifts are: Teaching, Shepherding and Evangelism. I have spend valuable time and resources making sure that I am equipped in the areas of my gifting. Ephesians 4:11- the apostle Paul spoke of Pastor, Greek word "Poimen" means Pastor. As a gifted pastor (shepherd) you have the Spiritual given capacity and desire to serve God by overseeing, training, and caring for the needs of God's people.

The Greek word " Euangelistes" means Evangelist. Doesn't necessary mean that you will travel the word preaching the gospel. This word means to proclaim glad tidings, a messenger of good. As an Evangelist you can either be a preacher who stands before the multitudes whether in person or on a social platform.

The Greek word " Didaskolos" means master, teacher or doctor. As a teacher you are one who communicates knowledge, guides, makes known or relays facts

When you know your gift or gifts it behooved you to become equipped to be used greatly for the furtherance of the gospel. We need those who are knowledgeable, trained and has the capacity to steer the church to reach the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you want to make sure you are equipped within the realm of your spiritual gifts.
